The Meddling Tongue - Day 12 "30 Days to Taming Your Tongue"
- Seek personal info directly from the person
- Are you genuinely concerned or just plain curious?
- Even if a person has given you a pass, still be careful to go there
- - pray before asking for information
- Do you meddle to try to control things for your own desired objectives?
- Or are you genuinely concerned for their sinful state?
- Pray the Rouach Kodesh (Holy Spirit) would convict them
- If you do not know something concrete as evidence then when you seek information you are meddling
(Proverbs 26:17 The Scriptures 1998+) A passer-by meddling in a strife not his own Is like one who takes a dog by the ears.
(1 Thessalonians 4:11 GNB) Make it your aim to live a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to earn your own living, just as we told you before.
May Yahweh give us discernment in knowing when we are to express concern as our brother's keeper, and when to not mettle.
